The label for this cell changes depending on the corporate structure. For C Corp. the label is "C Corp. Tax Rate: Fed". For S Corp. the label is "S Shrldr Tax Rate: Fed+State".
For C Corp. enter the federal income tax rate for the corporation. This rate is used to calculate corporate income tax on corporation's taxable income after paying the state and/or local income taxes. This rate is also used to calculate Corporate Liquidation Taxes (see ) on gain in an asset sale.
For S Corp. enter the combined federal, state and local income tax rate for the individual. This rate is used to calculate shareholder's tax liability on S Corp. income after paying the corporate level state and/or local income taxes. This rate is also used to calculate Corporate Liquidation Taxes (see ) on gain on asset sale.
BVX does not have tax rates based on absolute levels of income.
